...The boar was right. Tim would return to Italy.
This time his travel companions were his daughter Laura and his cousins from Washington. They would again visit his Aunt and Uncle in Genoa, which is always the highlight to the trip to Italy. This trip started out in London where the group took in castles, bridges, towers and other Royal sites. They stayed right on the Thames and used water taxis to traverse the local area. After a brief stay it was off to Italy where the real family fun would begin. Meals were prepared with regional goods from the local outdoor market. More site seeing and relaxing was done in the Cinque Terre (5 lands) where ancient fishing villages meet the sea at the mouths of rivers coming through the mountains. This area boasts some of the most picturesque housing in the world. Tim has stated that this is the land where many puzzle images are made. On the way back home, Tim and family stopped in London again for more castle touring at the Kensington Palace. The gardens were truly amazing right on the shore of the Thames and the Castle went on forever. The trip ended with a last night in the local pub and another European chapter was in the books. Tim was told by his Aunt that next time he came for a visit, he would have to bring Monique. More to follow...
