Tim and Monique recently made a road trip to the town of Hillsboro.
The purpose of the trip was to take in a new area and search of fall farm treasures. One of the farms visited was the Roloff farm, popularized by the television show, Little People Big World. The farm lived up to its reputation and was a pleasure to tour while searching for pumpkins. We did run in to some of the Roloff family which made it that much more pleasurable as they are a great family that cares about the farm and its visitors. We also toured some great farms which featured pigs, berries, apples, pears Nuts and much more. We also took a stroll through downtown Hillsboro which featured a farmer's type market in the streets on Saturday morning. The weather was great for the fall in this region. It was mostly sunny with a bit of rain on the last morning. We will return in the future.
